The Greek Anthology is the largest surviving collection of short Greek poems, starting from the earliest poets and going up to Byzantine times. It is primarily based on a compilation of epigrams made by the Byzantine scholar Constantinus Cephalas in the 10th century, with some additions by Maximus Planudes in the late 13th century.
